School Policy

Professional Cooking and Baking Program
A complete ACE uniform (chef’s coat, chef’s pants, skull hat, closed toe non-skid shoes) is required to participate in class.

Students who are absent and fail to provide 24 hour advance notice will not receive a refund for missed classes but may make up missed classes in future programs based on space availability, plus food cost expense.  Students who missed classes with advanced notice may make up missed classes in any future programs without incurring additional fees.

We reserve the right to change class order, topic, recipes/techniques, or tours as listed due to unforeseen circumstances such as unavailable ingredient, guest instructor/speaker cancellation or other emergencies.

Single Class Cancellation Policy
For cancellations made up to 48 hours before the class, Academy of Culinary Education will refund your class fee in full.
Only a credit, which can be applied to future classes, will be given to cancellations made 24 hours before the class.
No credit will be given to cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class unless it is a medical emergency.
Cancellations or changes can be made by calling 818-887-2433.
Should Academy of Culinary Education have to cancel a class, we will contact you by email or phone and issue a full refund.

Return Check Policy
Please note that if a Payment is rejected by the bank, a $35.00 fee will be charged to the issuer of the returned check.
